Goodness, it is already February! December and January flew by. I can tell by phone calls and emails that our clients are thinking about their business and estate planning needs again.
At our home, we had 5 waves of company starting from the first weekend of December over the next 7 weeks taking us through the Martin Luther King holiday. It was a lot, but many beautiful memories were made. I know several of my clients and colleagues have shared their family and visitor stories, and we’ve had some good laughs over the blessings and challenges of house guests and family. Peace and quiet felt good this past weekend.
Then we celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday, (see photo attached). My last-minute surprise party got pulled off with the help of good friends and our daughters. Delightfully it truly was a surprise that we all enjoyed participating in.
Now February begins birthday bonanza in our family and at the firm, from mid-February to mid-March, including Ginger’s on February 17th and mine on February 25th. Usually by the middle of March, my sweet tooth is sufficiently satiated. If you come by our office this month there may be sweet treats on offer.
Our in-office team updates are that Alex remains with us a bit longer, as she prepares for her next chapter post-graduation. Emma is getting up to speed, and you should start interacting with Emma soon, if you haven’t already. Sarrah continues to greet everyone and is usually your first point of contact; and Anna continues to support our clients part- time. We have a good team at the moment that I feel blessed to come in and work with each day. If you haven’t been by in a while, I encourage you to pop in and say hello and meet our new team members.
