Managing Attorney

C. Margaret Tritch Buonocore

Margaret Tritch Buonocore began her legal career in Los Angeles as a litigator. She then moved to London where, after completing her LLM, she worked in international business and finance for almost a decade structuring corporate finance transactions, equity offerings, debt, and derivative instruments focusing on contract and securities law issues. She returned to the U.S. and Arizona and began working in investment company, Maitland Primrose Group, Inc. where she restructured and rebuilt companies and negotiated their sale. Margaret continues to sit on Maitland’s board.

Margaret returned to the full time practice of law in 2015 and enjoys using her background in business and structuring to assist individuals and companies in planning their future, which most often takes the form of estate planning, succession planning, business sales/acquisition/investments, and probate and trust administration. She strives to provide a personal touch to her clients and reduce complex issues to information her clients can not only understand, but feel confident in making choices that fit their goals.

MANAGING ATTORNEY

Integrity

At Tritch Buonocore Law, you can be assured we don’t make promises unless we’re fully confident in our ability to keep them. If we aren’t well-placed to handle your matter, we have no issues in saying so and providing you a referral. It’s not about saying what you want to hear. It’s about reliably delivering.

Experience

The team at Tritch Buonocore Law features uniquely skilled attorneys and solicitors, who are licensed in Arizona, California, and England and Wales. It’s one thing to make claims. But it’s another thing entirely to have the experience to back them up.

Understanding

We understand that hiring an attorney is an important decision. It’s important to us that we are a good fit for our clients, while recognizing that we won’t always be. We aim to help you achieve your goals and are not deterred by the complexity of your matter or the difficulties you might be facing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Will Your Initial Meeting Cost?

  • Our initial meet and greet is free, for up to 30 minutes.
  • It’s essential to inquire about the cost of the initial consultation when engaging a lawyer, especially if you intend to explore multiple options. This allows you to assess whether the fee aligns with your budget before committing further.
  • This complimentary meeting allows you and our team of professionals to evaluate if our firm is a suitable fit for your needs. Additionally, you can learn about us and our services. Then determine if we are a good fit before making any hiring decisions.

Why Is Estate Planning Important?

Planning not only ensures that your assets are distributed according to your wishes but also serves to mitigate income, gift, and estate taxes. In the absence of an estate plan, particularly a will, state laws dictate the fate of your belongings, and the courts determine guardianship for your children.

Can You Help Me Draft My Estate Plan?

One of the greatest advantages of collaborating with a seasoned firm such as Tritch Buonocore Law is our comprehensive support throughout the entire process. From offering guidance on structuring your assets to crafting the precise wording for your estate planning documents (will, trust or powers of attorney), a proficient lawyer can assist you at every stage. It’s crucial to seek out an experienced attorney who is dedicated to meeting your specific requirements, ensuring that you receive tailored and comprehensive assistance.

What Is a Trust?

A trust is a legal arrangement where a person (trustor) transfers assets to a trustee to manage for beneficiaries’ benefit. Trusts serve various purposes such as estate planning, asset protection, and tax efficiency. Trust terms are outlined in a trust document, specifying trustee responsibilities and beneficiary rights.

Can a Trust Help Avoid Taxes?

Establishing a trust creates a distinct legal entity, potentially subject to different tax treatment than personal assets. Consulting an estate planning attorney, particularly one knowledgeable about tax implications, is crucial for understanding and navigating these complexities. Trust ownership can also offer tax advantages, notably for larger estates, warranting legal advice, especially for assets exceeding $13 million. Legal intricacies demand expert guidance.
