Hello and Happy August!
Depending on what stage you are in life, you may be in the midst of your summer vacation and away for a few more months; or, if you are like me and still have school age children, you are getting ready for a new school year and you feel a tinge of sadness that the summer break is coming to an end. Outside though, the summer is far from over here.
Normally, things quiet down for us in the summer; but they did not this year. Therefore, regrettably, I didn’t get much of a vacation this summer. I did enjoy some lovely time in the Seattle area and Puget Sound for the 4th of July with dear friends and a long weekend in Coronado recently. Our family was all in on the World Cup and while in Seattle, I almost spent a stupid amount of money to watch the USA play in the round of 16 and extend my trip. Thankfully my friend and I were disciplined: we picked our price and when that wasn’t possible except for nosebleed seats, we declined. Watching the game back in Arizona, I saw how much of the stadium was getting beat on by the sun and then disappointing result of the game, I was very happy we didn’t buy tickets. Our family ran into friends in Coronado and had a World Cup final viewing party at the house we stayed in. But the true highlight was the England v. France game for 3rd place, and the winner of the Golden Boot was decided, where the game and commentators had us laughing out loud and enjoying it with delight.
While none of our team at Tritch Buonocore Law got a week off or a true vacation, there were moments of rest and fun. The busyness of the summer may just be a reflection that our firm keeps growing. Regardless, please know that we prioritize our existing and returning clients, but new clients do have to wait several weeks to start working with us. We are seeking another attorney and experienced paralegal to join our practice. If you happen to know anyone, please ask them to contact us.
